Research
The University of Bonn offers creative scientific work and promotes talented researchers. Our university holds the coveted title of University of Excellence, through which the federal and state governments support top university research. We are the only university in Germany with six clusters of excellence - in these alliances, scientists conduct joint interdisciplinary research on particularly relevant topics.
The Institute of Anatomy operates two Core Units of the Faculty of Medicine, with the aim of applying the scientific knowledge gained to the development of new - both diagnostic and therapeutic - procedures.
